Dentures Lake Mary, FL
A denture is a prosthesis that has to fit a mouth that keeps changing. Comfort comes from the fit and the follow-up, not just the day it is delivered.
We provide full and partial dentures, along with the adjustments and relines that keep them comfortable over time. Where a lower denture is unstable, implants can sometimes help. The first appointment is about assessing what is already there, what needs removing or repairing, and what you want the denture to do.
Who this is for
- Patients missing several or all teeth in an arch
- Existing denture wearers with sore spots or a loose fit
- People considering an implant-supported denture
- Patients who need a denture repaired or relined
Dentures Lake Mary – What the Visit Involves
- Examination of the gums, remaining teeth and current denture
- Impressions or a scan, and a discussion about appearance and function
- A try-in stage so you can see and feel the denture before it is finished
- Fitting, with written instructions and a follow-up to adjust pressure points
Options we may discuss
Full denture – Dentures Lake Mary
Replaces all teeth in one arch.
Partial denture
Fills a gap while keeping existing teeth.
Implant-supported denture
Adds retention, usually for a lower denture.
Repair or reline
Extends the life of a denture that no longer fits well.
What affects the cost
Fees depend on whether you need a full or partial denture, whether teeth are being removed, and whether implants are involved. Repairs and relines are priced separately. We quote before starting and explain what is included in the follow-up visits.
Aftercare and maintenance
New dentures usually need adjustment in the first weeks as your mouth settles. Clean them daily, take them out at night unless told otherwise, and book a review if a sore spot develops rather than waiting for it to become worse.
Dentures: common questions
How long until I get used to a denture?
It varies. Speaking and eating usually feel more natural within a few weeks, and adjustments during that period are normal. We would rather see you for a small adjustment than have you struggle.
Can I sleep in my denture?
Usually it is better to remove it at night so the gums can rest and clean themselves. We will give you specific advice for your denture.
Will a denture change how I speak?
Some words may sound different at first. Reading aloud for a few minutes a day helps, and most patients adapt quickly.
Can a loose denture be fixed?
Often yes, sometimes with a reline, sometimes with a new denture, and sometimes with implants for retention. We will assess which is realistic for your case.
