Meet Dr. Akmal Ahmed
Dr. Akmal Ahmed provides comprehensive dental care for individuals and families at Orlando Healthy Smiles in Lake Mary, Florida. His approach combines careful diagnosis, clear communication and individualized treatment planning.
Dr. Ahmed earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in Denver. He is licensed to practice dentistry in Florida and Connecticut and has continued his professional development in cosmetic dentistry and implant reconstruction.
Experience Rooted in Central Florida
After completing his dental training in Denver, Dr. Ahmed practiced in Connecticut before returning to Florida. He later worked in several Central Florida communities, including areas of Orange, Brevard and Lake counties, before establishing his Lake Mary dental practice.
In 2007, Dr. Ahmed attained Fellow status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His continuing education has included cosmetic and implant-focused care, supporting treatment plans that consider oral health, function and natural-looking results.
