Call now

Dental problems rarely happen at a convenient time. If you have tooth pain, a swollen gum, a broken tooth or a lost filling, phone the office rather than waiting for a routine appointment. Our reception team can advise you on immediate steps and check the schedule for an urgent visit.

Options we may discuss

Relief and temporary repair – Emergency Dentist Lake Mary FL

To settle pain and protect the tooth until definitive treatment.

Root canal treatment

When the nerve of the tooth is infected or inflamed.

Extraction

When a tooth cannot be saved or is causing the urgent problem.

Referral

For injuries or infections that need specialist or hospital care.

What affects the cost

Urgent visits vary widely: some need only a simple repair, others need root canal treatment or an extraction. We explain the fee for each option before treatment, and emergency care is not conditional on paying for treatment you have not agreed to.

Aftercare and maintenance

You will leave with written aftercare advice and clear instructions about what to do if the problem returns before your next appointment.

Fees: every plan is quoted in writing before treatment begins. If you have PPO dental benefits, we help submit the paperwork so your estimate reflects your plan.

Emergency Dentistry: common questions

Can I be seen today?

Sometimes. Urgent appointments depend on the day’s schedule and the type of problem, so call and we will tell you honestly what is available. We do not operate a 24-hour emergency service.

What should I do before I am seen?

Keep the area clean, avoid very hot or cold food on that side, and use the pain relief you would normally take for a headache if it is safe for you. If swelling is spreading or you have difficulty swallowing or breathing, seek emergency medical care immediately.

A tooth has been knocked out. What now?

Handle it by the crown, not the root. If it is a permanent tooth and you can, place it back in the socket or keep it in milk and call us immediately. Do not scrub it. Baby teeth should not be re-implanted.

Do you treat emergencies if I am not a patient?

Yes, call and ask. We will tell you whether we can help and what the visit will involve.

Questions about emergency dentistry?

Call the office and ask. You do not need to book treatment to get a straight answer about whether this is the right next step.
